College Inn Bar

On Friday, May 17th, drink specials are offered to celebrate historic preservation Wyoming style.

A very brief history of the bar is that it was built in 1906 by Theodore Pringle. The backbar, front bar, booths, archways, paneling, etc were all built by the Brunswick, Balke, and Collender Company out of Chicago. The floor is a crushed marble, hand laid, one inch square tiles in a five color pattern.Theodore Pringle built his first bar in this location in 1887, in 1906 he moved that building and built the current College Inn Bar, a grand and upscale establishment with a liquor/cigar store/saloon on the main level and luxurious 'sleeping rooms' upstairs. It is the oldest business in Converse County still doing business in the same location.
