Historic F.S. King Brothers Ranch Homestead Tour

You are invited to an Alliance for Historic Wyoming ranch tour the afternoon of September 2, 2018 at the F.S. King Bros Ranch Historic District. Nestled in the Laramie Mountains at 8,300 feet fifteen miles northeast of Laramie, Wyoming, the Historic District is a living example of the early influence of the King Brothers sheep operation and its importance to the history of Wyoming and sheep industry nationally. The program will include a guided tour of the historic district, with options for talks on the history of the King Brothers Ranch, a nature walk in the North Platte headwaters and an in-depth look at the recently completed five-year restoration project supervised by the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office.

Chef Seamus Mackenzie will serve a ranch style dinner. Space is limited. For more information and to R.S.V.P. email ExecDirector@historicwyoming.org or call (307)333-3508. Admission is $50 for members, $60 for non-members, and $30 for UWYO students. Proceeds to benefit the Alliance for Historic Wyoming.
